Dance Open America is delighted to offer the Grand Prix Finals in the dynamic city of Miami on April 25-27, 2024. This year’s Artistic Awards Gala in honor to Laura Alonso and Vladimir Malackov will be on Saturday, April 27 at 8:00 PM.

Connecting dancers all over the globe, the Grand Prix is a platform for young dancers to express themselves.  This competition will allow Dance Open America to promote and discover new talent in a safe space where young dancers can conquer their dreams through the joy of dance. As a means of excellence, discovery, creation and innovation, Dance Open America instills the love of the art form by encouraging young dancers to be the best they can be.

Dance Open America is the alternative that reveals a new generation of talented dancers. A site to unite people from all cultures and ethnicities. Our mission is to allow dancers to become innovative and skilled artists, allowing them to reach their full potential. Offering great possibilities to work with other dancers, choreographers, Teachers, and directors of great international prestige. We aim to enhance the legacy of dance as art. Preserving and developing the inheritance of the dance in its free expression.

Mini Mania is an exciting and innovative program for young dancers, ages seven to ten years!

Young dancers who are seeking future success at their home studio and in Francisco Gella Dance Works Preprofessional Training Programs, this is for you.  The Mini Mania Dance Intensive will give young dancers a head start by providing the necessary tools to understand the fundamentals of training from a technical and artistic capacity. By developing important foundational elements, our goal is to prepare our attendees for future success in both their home studio and our training experiences for older preprofessional dancers at future Francisco Gella Dance Works events.

Our organization’s mission is to create opportunities for dancers throughout every stage of their dance journey from age seven to college, so they have the tools they need to succeed. By planting seeds and encouraging young dancers to think for themselves while taking proper care of their bodies, minds, and spirits we inspire focused growth; guiding dancers and their parents in developing healthy mindsets for their dance journeys!

Ballet+ is an in-depth intensive leading students toward developing a strong technical foundation in ballet, modern, and jazz with a highly refined and authentic individual artistic voice.  Francisco Gella Dance Works meet competitive and conservatory dancers where they are in their training journey. 

The faculty will travel through Ballet+ with each student – honoring their uniqueness, encouraging growth, and challenging them to realize their full potential.  Frequently called a ‘breath of fresh air’ by students, parents, teachers, and directors alike, every one of Francisco Gella Dance Works’ programs deliver on a central commitment: to transform hardworking young adults into remarkable young artists regardless of body type or background. We also instill a belief in our students that anything is possible with hard work, a sense of purpose, and a willingness to take risks.
